Everything I've ever read by you tears out my heart, wrenching my emotions and is at the same time spectacularly written, wonderfully well-done, and a real treat to read. Keep up the excellent work!

Oh, wow... I'm speechless.
Usually I tend to dislike Xander deathfics, be it suicide or old age, because the angst is exaggerated and the clich?s keep from taking the text in fully. This wonderful and very touching story has managed to avoid every trap and be a beautifully narrated tale of peaceful death. Despite the situation, you have kept Xander well in character, saving the very traits that make him such an endearing character to begin with. The emotional setting and Xander's feelings are portrayed remarkably well and they really get to the reader, making this a real 'tissue alert' piece.
The part you had chosen for Spike isn't quite new as a storyline, but I've never seen it written this well. The awesome combination of old and new is most enjoyable, and his task goes well with his own path. The philosophical take on his view of the situation is lovely. One can only wonder how the rest of the future unfolds for these two.
