Hypnosis. What a fantastic idea. I love this chapter and I love the story. I don't think you need smut in every chapter. How can you develop a plot if all you read is erotic rendez-vous? Not that I mind erotic rendez-vous.

hello, wow, yeah thought you were going to use dru's memerizing skills like that. I love this story so much. I wont be able to read for awhile as i am doing a bit of winter hiking. i will be off in the woods from dec 26 till ????? maybe march. depends on the weather. so if you stop seeing my reviews it because i have no computer. but will red this story when i come back to civilization.

I just read this story in one sitting and its unbelievably breathtaking and engaging. I love how you've described the characters and their motives. I really can't wait to read the next chapter.

Hmmm... I wonder just who is the greater Mistress of Intrigue? The Lady *coughspitcough* Drusilla, or Buffy? Dru and Angelus might want to fleece William for everything he has, but Buffy has allies in her quest to protect not just her dowry, but her family AND her integrity. I actually feel more sorry for William than I do angry. He might be good looking and totally shaggable (although he's not enough for Dru, apparently...) but his brains aren't above the waistline are they? I don't know how he's managed to retain Clem as a friend.

Please, please, please, please don't let Buffy be so weak that she drops her drawers for William as soon as he makes any serious play for her. Let her have greater willpower, and determination, than that. And, just a small plea... I do hope Xander isn't just a whelp. He was a courageous lad on the show, and totally brave, if not foolhardy sometimes. He deserves one lucky punch!

well, i do have to say that I enjoyed that quite a bit. I just love it when i log on and there is a update. and clem standing up to William was such a great idea and of course clem yelling at William over Dru and William still defending he was having me wantt to beat him up. I love that you do not portray william as a "shy" man and give him more of a "spike" feel.

hey, just read all 26 chapters and let me tell you i love it. the way the plot has evolved and how you put details in. I am a history teacher however i have not studied this time period in depth. and with the school system i never seem to get away from american history. So this fic feeds both passions. history and buffy or spuffy as the case is. thank you.
