I think you handled this chapter perfectly. Hamish' wisdom, William's father behavior.. Elisabeth and Joyce actions... William's reaction... All is perfect and IC! The memories are strong, but if we think Dru and Angelus was hungry for blood and violence, they make sense.
You are a great author! And the smut parts are so hot!
Can't wait to read other stories from you.
Now let's read how this story ends. I want to know Faith's part in Angelus' death!

Angelus' characterization is perfect! It's hard to find an author who portray Angelus so well. I don't like him because he frightens me, but you alternate spuffy happy moments and evil Angelus' moments so perfectly. The story keeps me intrigued :)

I like very much the way you prepared the plot element of the torture room. Angelus could have used a rented room, but it would be banal. Here, instead, you connected several elements of the plot. You made things scarier, more real. And you made it while respecting historical mindset and customs.
The chapter was disgusting and intriguing at the same time. I really want to know what happen next and how will Drusilla's hypnotic skills come into use.
I must admit, I thought the story will be boring after Buffy will concede herself to William. Instead, you kept the plot interesting! You really are a good writer.

Poor Joyce, she deserves to be loved! And Annandale is so sweet.
Their society really had a shocking mindset. Taking pleasure with a man was a whore thing. A lady should stay still and let the man have what he needed. So horrible!
But please do not put too many details, she's like a mother to me. It would be disturbing :)

I didn't think Angelus would be willing to do something really drastic like that! But that makes things very interesting to read.

I like this chapter. Faith's story is very dramatic but shows perfectly how mens attitude was. It tells Faith and Clem's love story and gives a link to Angelus, so we can have an idea to who he really is.

I'm a little disappointed here :( I expected so much from Dru and Buffy confrontation. Dru characterization was so good. She was clever and a perfect manipulator. Suddenly she is mad and completely stupid. So anticlimatic :( I expected she tried to thrall William with hypnosis at least.

I was so enamored of your tale that i couldnt stop reading it for anything. I read straight through the night and into the next day. I am enthralled by the way you write, your descriptiveness and your finesse astounded me. I am not a fan of Angelus, but Angel is a different story ALL together. I HATE DRUSILLA, so the way she died made me laugh to the heavens. I Love Spike and i believe you kept his as close to character as was possible during this fiction and i applaud your effort and ability. It was Buffy who astounded me. You managed to keep her a strong woman in a time where women were meek and had little to no power. You managed to add another dimension to Buffy Summers that i thought impossible. Again i Applaud your effort and skill. The "OC's" were a WONDERFUL addition. I loved Clem, his character astounded me and i saw him as an amazing man. There are just so many facets to this tale that if i were to examine them all would make for a several-page long review. So, with just a few more words i will end this review. You should have won the first place award for the NC17 story and the True Love award. There hasnt been another Spuffy story like yours and that held my attention the way yours did, so to end this. Thank you for gracing this site and others with this work of amazing art.
