okay so i read this and i'm really lovin it. please finish it. it's completely awesome! i so can't wait to find out what happens to buffy and spike. especially jenny and giles.

Can't think why I've only just found this fic, but I just thought I'd let you know how much I'm loving it. I've read quite a few 'let's go back in time and fix things' fics, but they rarely centre around Spike going back on his own, and I think you're doing wonderfully. I like how Spike is struggling to 'do the right thing' without his soul, and how you're allowing Buffy to grow up slowly and not forcing them into a hasty sexual relationship. Love the fact that Xander is being accepting of Spike... and the VampJenny twist is a stroke of genius. Can't wait to see where you're going with that!

If you kill Jenny off you need to have Giles find someone and be happy. But it would be nice if Spike came in at the last second and saved her.

okay, i'm really confused. i thought spike had a soul here. this happened after he burned up in the hellmouth, so i thought he kept the soul. unless he was sent back without it and i just missed that part or something. i'm really not looking forward to him acting like he did in the 6th season, i don't really see that here. i was hoping that there would be another way to bring angelus back and that buffy wouldn't actually sleep with him. whether she knows it yet or not, she's already developing feelings for spike and i was hoping maybe she would have realized that she didn't want angel like that, but i guess not. at least you didn't write the sex scene between the two of them. i don't know if i could have stomached that. i'm surprised spike just let that happen without finding a way to prevent it, but i guess maybe he needed it to happen so buffy would realize that she's not meant to be with angel. i'm also confused about how all the same stuff is happening. like drusilla getting cured and the judge showing up. if spike wasn't around to help with all of that, then who else is helping her? i doubt she would me dealing with everything herself, especially not when she was still weak. i guess it was just minions or something and i suppose she has angelus now.
