I loved this story! On more than one occasion I caught my eyes misting while reading. Although I understand that some stories need to end with out the happy-happy joy-joy feeling, the ending usually still bums me out. I will be waiting eagerly for your alternate ending!

Just found this story and read it all the way through. Gotta say I love it. Actually didn't like much of the series from mid season six until the end. Your chapter 12 (Day Four) should have been included in the show. Spike was allowed to redeem himself, but the writers never gave Buffy a chance to redeem herself. All they gave us was self-righteous bitch Buffy. Her whole attitude was -- Yeah I used and abused you, so what?. Using and abusing someone who loves you or someone you love does not empower you, it diminishes you. So when the writers didn't allow her to redeem herself, it was hard for me to see her as a hero in the end. Your story gave her back what she lost in the show and I eagerly await the epilogue to see how you're going to end it.

Only the second review I have ever done. I have loved this story and have sat here on the computer at 7am in the morning crying. I have loved your writing and cannot wait for the epilogue, although I really don't want it to end either, if that makes any sense. Keep up the good work.

Where are my kleenex? That was so heartbreaking and the poems were so beautiful. I hope you can write the epilogue very soon, I can't wait to read it.
