Love this chapter! Buffy is seeing things clearly, but sstill lacks of a general vision. Spike still sees better than her, and not by his night vision, I mean. He can read people better.

Well, let's hope that Spike THINKS about the security in the Initiative. After all, he knew about the cameras in the First Initiative. And he's not stupid. Quite intelligent, and has a sixth sense about sensing things.

Yes, it's true. Spike runs REALLY low in that friend's department. I only hope Buffy clears up her mind, and Xander realizes how... horrific (that does not suit what it was) was the suffering of Diana, so he can see the damage. I think that, if I were her, I would have killed Riley and the rest of soldiers even if it killed me in the process. IU would have not stopped until I was satisfied. Xander perhaps should need to know Spike's version of the story, how useless he felt, the anger, the bitterness, and the strong desire to kill mercilessly those who damaged his childe.

Well, I still believe Riley deserved that death (I would have extended myself a little more, however...).
Buffy is still confused about the whole thing. I still believe your fic is getting more and more interesting each day. Can't wait until tomorrow.

Good chapter. Buffy is still VERY confused about what to do with Spike. I would be, too. After all, he's a vampire, we all now it, but Riley... Well, I think everyone deserves a second chance, except rapist and torturers, I'm sorry, but Riley knew what he did, and his consecuences. He was a monster, much worse than vampires, who, after all, and with a few wxception (Angelus, Dru, a pair more), kill only to eat.
Until next chapter, hopefully, tomorrow.

OMG!!! Blockhead Buffy is back in full force! Queen C was never so cruel. Why does Spike continue to forgive her?

I think that, after that night, even Spike, who had been for more than a century with the psycopath of Angelus and the more-than-insane Drusilla, will be traumatized for life. Not for his beating, no, only for what he had been forced to live. And I don't think I blame him for whatever torture he decides to use against Riley. Or the soldiers. They deserve to die slowly, painfullly, in so much pain they can not even scream.
Oh, and for a moment I though general Cordova was going to interrumpt Buffy and Spike, catching the slayer in a fact that is not obviously a beating. Although it seems to me that the general would like also, to do *something* to Spike if she were sure he was not going to fight against her, with chip included and all.
