What difference does it make what tense the story is written in as long as the story line works and flows well. If I was spending 25.00 on the latest Harry Potter book I might pay more attention to tense but since fanfiction is free I'm just looking for an entertaining story to read. Loved the story think your a good writer look forward to your next fiction.

How in the HELL did I miss this story??? WOW! I am absolutely blown away by this fic. I can't wait to read the next chapter.

While I think the plot line is very interesting, the writing itself leaves a lot to be desired. The author switches tenses and tries to use the present tense mostly, which generally fails (past tense is usually preferred). Despite this problem, though, the story is well done - the characters are mostly true to the series (within reason, obviously this is an AU story), and the story itself is touching, containing both good plot and sex scenes I'm sure we all wish we could have seen.
