Great update. I wonder about the familial blood of Buffy and Dru's visions of all the family. Looking forward to more.

Like the premise of the story. I need to reread and catch up though. I know for my story Duty or Destiny, Angel wasn't going to lose his soul by having sex with Buffy. I was going to use the ritual itself to actually bring Angelus out. I've been planning that since the story was a little seed in my mind. So, I'm going to need to reread through everything here to make sure that I can make my idea still work without duplicating yours. {Smiles} I know that Buffy would be keeping her Slayer strength for sure. In any case, I enjoy this idea you have. I look forward to reading how it is explored.

Okay, I started the reread, and I should be okay. You have things happening because Buffy tried to pull the dagger out during the ritual. That wasn't what I was planning. So, I shouldn't have to worry about my idea copying yours. {Smiles} I wanted you to still have an original idea as well as myself.

I understand in this chapter (or maybe it was a rewritten chapter) ... Buffy didn't try to escape because she is lacking the strength too. At least that is how it seems. She almost lost to the one vamp, did lose to Angelus. So, I wouldn't have expected her to try and escape at this point. Just letting you know since I know it was a point in conflict based on the reviews I read.

Buffy is asking for it with all the insults at Spike. Those two spar verbally so well. The insults just fly back and forth. The Little Bad comment was priceless.

Uh oh ... I don't like Angelus' attitude. I'm really afraid for what is going to happen to Buffy next. {whimpers and heads to Ch. 6}

I hope they get the council's henchmen but I'd much rather have a long and involved torture of Travers before killing him painfully. More story please.
