Oh, thank you, thank you, thank you for continuing this so wonderful story. I have been checking every day since Christmas, and, finally, today it's there. Now we know what happened with Spike. Not all of it, but I'm sure you'll let little bits slip out as you feel like it.

Now Xander is going completely nuts. I wonder why *snort*. Nothing bad's happened to the poor boy. Just captured, sold again, and almost forced to breed when he'd rather cut his legs off than provide babies for the slave trade. Attacking Spike.....wow...I almost didn't see that coming. I thought it would be just verbal. But Xander is shutting down. Spike is certainly going to have a lot of work to do to get Xander back to where he had been. Whew. I am certainly looking forward to it.

I hope you had a wonderful Christmas day, as I did. I wish you a Happy New Year and a full one with all the writing that you are going to do. *Hint, hint*.

You know, first you spoil us by posting almost every day, then you disappear for a while, then you come back and start spoiling us again with daily posts, sometimes even two posts a day. Then what do you do? YOU DISAPPEAR AGAIN! **pant*huff*snort*pant**

Ok, now that I have that out of my system, I can't wait to see what happens in the next chapter. Glad to see Spike's ok, but he has some 'splainin' to do. Wouldn't Xander's sale and who bought him have been public record? At least there should have been some witnesses he could have bribed/threatened. And was it a shurl or sharl (you have it spelled both ways) demon that had Spike all chained up and I'd really love to know her reason for that.

At any rate, great job and please update soon.

It is not good if you have plenty of time at hand and your favorite author won't update her story. ;-)

As you can guess I love your story and hope that you'll reunite those two soon.
I have a vivid imagination and have at least five scenarios in my head how you do it
but I am sure you are still going to surprise me.

Oh.... that is something... it's something... whether the dear love will actually get out of there and whether Spike is truly alive ??? Smart Xander and lovely Angel... and Posk is rather innocent and Dareh well meaning in the horse breeder way... Brilliant story, utterly compelling!!! Encore!

Wow. Looks like someone other then xander has been paying attention in biology. I've never heard the arguement for natural selection and the human species made in that way before, but that was an incredibly intelligent notion as to how mankind is doing itself in. Whether this is an idea that has been spinning out there in intellectual circles or just came out of your noggin (which, if it did, it's f*cking brilliant!), it suddenly gives a whole new spin on this story that I wasn't even expecting.

You had me worried there for a minute. I knew that Angel couldn't get there in time since it's over 11 hours driving from LA to White Sands, NM. But yeah, Angel did something right for once. And now for Spike...
