Oh my, that was so sweet.
I love the frantic, worried, crazy Spike. Only a family in danger can do that to him.
Kyaa. ^_^

WOO HOO!!! We have BABY! Wonderful chapter and good to know a little bit about Trista. Now it looks like they're going to have to work on fixing her, but I'm guessing that's the next story. It looks like you're planning on an another epilogue, so please hurry.
*BTW, the don't tend to cut the umbilical cords that fast these days.*

Oh, wow. Two chapters in one day. Woo hoo! And another wonderful chapter at that (like you could produce anything else). More soon I hope. I love the fact you went into Trista's head, though it would be nice if she could write or something to let them know that she's alright.

Oh....how absolutely wonderful. While I wouldn't have minded reading all the inbetween bits with Lashar's death and the birth of Amanda, that's okay. You let us know what had happened just fine, with all those little sentences and Xander's thoughts.
Loved this story. Will love it for a long time. Is there another chapter, since this one is Epilogue 1? If there is, I'll wait, and then print the whole story out. I've the orginal story already, and I'm eager to add this to it.
Thank you so much for putting your thoughts and ideas into 'print' for us lowly readers to read. I could write fiction, once, but my kidneys packed up a few years ago and now I just can't string words together in a fictional setting. Darn toxins.
Ahem. Again, thank you. And if you want to continue this story with perhaps Amanda growing up, I'm sure that we, your humble readers and worshippers, wouldn't mind.
Love ya

Ah...a sort of closure to the torture of Xander's slave days.
And that was so sweet the Spike and Xander banter.

So, here I am, getting ready to go to bed when I decide to check in here and what do I see? A very long awaited new chapter. So much for sleep.
Another wonderful chapter and I hope you can update soon. I'm hoping this isn't the end because after all, you still have the mommy to be to deal with. Please hurry.

WOW!!! When I read "Broken, Beautiful" I was so impressed. The storyline itself was impressive, well thought out, well written, great characterizations, etc., but not only was the storyline impressive, but the fact that you could make what is usually so distateful as non-con, slavery, torture, etc., and make it palatable... actually, beyond palatable, addictive is more like it! And, for those of us who don't normally read the hard-core slavery type stuff, this is SO beautifully written that it makes all that secondary... it's the characters that are foremost! I am so pleased that you decided to write a sequel to "Broken Beautiful", because I wondered what would become of the new "alterated" Xander... whether or not he'd be able to survive or not. As for this sequel, it's every bit as good as the first! I have to say that it's been more mild, so far, than the original... I mean, even at the "farm", Xander wasn't treated badly or tortured... as far as "masters" go, he was luckier in the sequel (so far, at least...). What's to become of the woman he's impregnated? If she survives, then you've got a new character to "incorporate"... And, aren't there several (if not more) demons after Spike and Xander, at this point? I DO hope there's going to be a little more "adventure" in this one, some more thrills and chills, if you know what I mean... like the original. Although, as far as sequels go... this is the best I've ever read. You are certainly talented and I cannot wait for the updates!!! Please, keep them coming regularly... there's nothing more frustrating to us readers than writers who take forever to add updates... or, worse yet, writers who keep submitting story after story, none of which get completed, or hardly ever updated... you keep waiting for an update and now and then, one will come, but in the meantime, the author has added three new stories, none of which he/she intends to update any more frequently than the one you fell in love with, to begin with! Grrrh! So, please, don't leave us fans hangin', okay? Pretty please, with sugar on top? LOL! Again, you are so very talented, your characterizations are wonderful and right on the money! I can see, quite easily, in my mind's eye, Willow "opening mouth and inserting foot", never knowing the damage she was doing, and I can see Cordelia, hugging first and thinking later... and lastly, I can definitely see Xander and Spike... you write them (as well as Angel) so well, it's very easy to imagine them saying every word you write. As for Joyce, she's perfect, as well.. she always had an inner strength and a nuturing spirit, that I can see forgiving any embarassing situation Xander might find himself in. And, I can easily see Giles falling apart, and never knowing it was happening to himself... poor Giles. I can't wait to see what happens here! I DO hope that it isn't going to end anytime soon, and there's a few more "adventures" in store for us. For instance, I hope we see Leshar and the shurl get what's coming to them (and will we find out why the shurl turned on them?), I hope we return to the "farm", because as far as "masters" go, they aren't too bad and I kinda like them for the kindness they had, and what of the "mother-to-be"? I have to say, I can't see Spike stepping aside, so Xander can play "happy family" with her and the baby. If I was writing it, I'd probably have her either be too far gone, emotionally/mentally, and have to "go away" for a long while, or (and this sounds SO awfully cruel), but have her die in childbirth, and the baby stay with Spike and Xander... a child would "make" Xander have to be strong, wouldn't it? And, that way, no woman for Spike to have to be jealous of, and no resentment of Xander on her part, for the so-called "rape"... easy out, huh? But, that's if I was writing it... what are you planning, I wonder? Anyways, kudos again, on a well written piece... that, for all the reviews I read, a LOT of people are enjoying!!! Keep 'em coming... you're great! The only other "slave" type piece I've read that was as well written, was by Lady Arkin, at The Cartouche (http://www.inkpress.org/storyline/authors.php?no=3625). the first part was called "Whore", and is written with Stargate, SG-1 characters, Daniel and Jack, mainly. If you like those characters, it's well worth a read. But, other than that, yours is the only "slave" fiction I've come across that's so well done. You're amazing!!! Now, you've been "stroked", "schmoozed" and "sweet-talked", so get back to your keyboard!!! LOL! Seriously, hope to read more soon... it's a real joy to read your stuff. All the best to you...
