The story as far as you posted it, is really amazing.
Usually I don't like fairy- stories 'cause they get awfully sweet,
but yours avoids that very nicely.
Spikes behavior and Xanders reactions also suit them,
just don't get too angsty, that would spoil the story.

I'm surprised that this fic hasn't been reviewed because, quite frankly, it's a great story. But around here getting reviews depends on so many things it's not even funny.
You've written this fic very well and the characters are wonderful. A truly angsty Xander is difficult to write well but you've managed wonderfully. His bitterness is practically tangible and the way you've built Spike's character in course of the story is great. The storyline is well done and I'm not usually even remotely interested in fairy stories because they tend to be sickly sweet, but this one is good.
I can't wait to see this one continued.
