This is a great plot line, Joyce the slayer with a daughter, interesting premise. I cant wait for the next chapter. Really shocked me. Well done

I'm having the same problem with lazy readers on my fics :)

I do hope you decide to keep going with this one though, I'm enjoying the novel plot concept of *Joyce* being a slayer (the mind boggles).

And watching confrontations between this Buffy and Spike is going to be *very* interesting.

I'm really liking the bits of back story being given, fleshing out the storyline. Spike's musing on the slayers he's bested clearly stated he'd only gotten two, so I'm intrigued by what he was really doing with Joyce on the night she was killed. This chapter filled in some plot points and moved the story along at a fast clip. I'm looking forward to more.

WOW some intense feelings there going on for buffy. Giles having issues too. I am really liking this story and I am anxious to see where you take it.
