Buffy still has her edgey attitude towards the world I see. Dru is still an evil nutter and Angelous the biggest wanker of them all LOL. I seriously am enjoying this story. I believe you have many twists and turns for us all. I won't ask for spoilers, just wait patiently till you write it all. Great Chapter

i really dont see how this is ever going to be a spuffy fic unless it is very similar to the way it happened in the actual show. of course i have a feeling (especialy with your fics) that when it does get spuffy it will get very angsty. ah, the good days. look forward to more of this fic, i know it's going to be good.

Oooh...Spuffy confrontation next chapter? Yes? I sure hope so. This story is very different from your others, but still very, very good. I can't wait to see how you manage to make this a Spuffy story, if Spike did indeed kill Joyce. Not sure why people would have any problems with that if he did...this is obviously AU and therefore Spike and Joyce didn't have the same kind of relationship. She was a slayer, he was a vampire. Though, again, it would make it difficult to believe Buffy would ever want Spike if he killed her mother. I guess I just have to keep reading to find out...and you have to keep writing!

What a treat to read such an original storyline - I love it. And it really works. An interesting Buffy too. Keep it coming!

I could see Willow trying to be-friend Buffy. This Buffy reminds me of the Buffy from the Wish (minus the slayer part). I look forward to her next meeting with Spike. :)

Excellent so far. I'm curious as to whether Spike truly killed Joyce - I can't imagine him and Buffy getting together if he really did.
Buffy is a bit Faith-like, but I guess that's understandable given the circumstances under which she was raised.
Keep up the great work!

Well, the story is great...I really like the angle of Buffy as the agrieved 'Robin Wood' and Joyce as the dead slayer, yes I can certainly see her in that role...Spike always had a soft spot for Joyce the mother in the show and I'm sure the same thing would apply to Joyce the Vampire Slayer...(It even has a nice ring to it). Buffy's hardened street act is convincing...almost Faith like...and Giles history with her mother is yet another nice touch...I'm looking forward to seeing more Spike interaction, and I'm sure you'll make Angelus dark and evil. So, yes on the whole, keep going with the story, it's got tons going for it and your writing is more than good (I haven't read much of your other stories, but I'm liking what I've read so far, with this one). Don't be to down hearted by lack of reviews (though I feel 30, for 3 chapters is a very healthy figure) lots of people have just returned to school and college and readers time can be as limited as writers...readers, read to relax, and if we're lucky they will respond enthusastically to what they read...and writers, write, because they too find it relaxing and have these stories and ideas they want to share with an audiance...but if the audiance doesn't respond in the way you hope they will don't let it get you down...write for you own sake, you'll still enjoy it, and when you enjoy it so too will the readers...good luck, and I'm looking forward to reading lots more.

Interesting to put Joyce as a slayer with a husband and child. Having Giles know of her provides an interesting dynamic. I look forward to the next update.
PS I am sorry you are frustrated and I know that you do not intend to be offensive to the people that have reviewed but you may want to use a bit more care. Saying "The response I've gotten so far has been barely above nothing" is probably not the best way to thank those of us who have taken the time to leave a comment concerning your work.
