I actually spent ages looking for this to read a second time. I went through every single page of Buffy/Spike. I really like this one. It's more realistic, in that they have struggles to face with each other, real reasons why they don't get on like Spike feeding, and using the claim on Buffy etc. This is one of my favourite stories on AFF.

Wow, that story was amazing! I wasn't sure I wanted to read it from the description, but that was fantastic. I will be looking for more of your stories, I hope you continue to write them!

Loved this one too, especially the way you first developed the relationship btw Spike and Buffy, and moved on to the more ploty part of the story.

Hi, I wanted to let you know how much I am enjoying your story! You've managed quite a few twists to create a most unusual and compelling story. I love that Buffy is the daughter of a slayer and that she was raised in the proper Watcher fashion. I love that the slayer's name is Nancy and that she fell into the same traps that ensared Buffy. Please continue and I really want to thank you for creating this wonderful story!

WOW! What a wonderful ark of a story! I loved how Nancy got hers in the end but what about Angel? Will he get over the horror of Nancy? Where is Cordelia in all of this and I love Oz! Where is he in the midst of this angst? I love your Buffy and Spike and how they interact with each other! Fabulous job and I hope you write more soon!

I didn't exactly know if I wanted to read this fic, but after I started I just couldn't stop and now it's six in the morning, and I've been reading all night, but it was really good, and amazingly inventive, I love how Spike and Buffy got mated backwards, that's excellent, and so like them...It was so good, I don't know if you're even checking reviews anymore for this story as I've no idea when you finished it, but I wanted to tell you that it was spectacular, and I really enjoyed it.

Ok, well I didn't review every chapter so here is an overview - LOVED IT!!! lol.
The beginning was awesome had me guessing and threw me off a bit when Spike said that the slayer was kind of plain - teehee for Buffy was not that slayer!
I loved the warehouse scene, because it was true Spike behaviour and it said something about their relationship because she couldn't stop him even then.
I loved the grief that you portrayed and it made me just as determined as Buffy to see her mothers murderer dead.
When she was kidnapped by Angel, that chapter was so raw and written very well, and Spike saving her, albiet reluctantly - loved it!
The transitional period between the two - with the great smut scenes and then closely followed by the animosity! genius!
The suicide scene, was so touching I got choked up - great to see how Spike was changing, gradually and why.
The chapter where he is angry with her - the terror was palpable brilliant!
Then as their relationship progressed, it was thoughtfully done and inredibly well thought out - they weren't just in love, it was happening gradually and believeable.
I liked the few chapters when they got back to Sunnydale and acted like a normal couple, i loved that Willow was Buffy's friend and my favourite quote of the story "We need to find you a safe place," "Oz!" that was hilarious!
All in all this was one of the best stories I have ever read, and i can't wait to see more from the person who is quickly becoming my favourite author!
