Oh maybe the healing may begin....but maybe not...for treating it as such a secret in a way still makes it feel wrong in a way........I hope they soon realize to make a clean break of it.....is to let it breath new air.....come out of the darkness and grow in the sunlight.......I think they might be surprised if they told their parents.......I'm sure xthey've even did the wishful speculation of what if our children feel in love........Smart of Buffy to see he has issues of him own making...and it will not be taken care of overnight.....Lovely angsty loving insightful chapter........

Oh William all you need to do is forgive yourself.......seek help from someone that will tell you that both you and Dru were young and immature....made some bad choices and need to learn from those mistakes, not let them drag you down......Maybe what he really needs to forgive is the fact he divorced her and walked away while Dru was at her weakest point in her life.....broken. Yes it's good he left, but so much to feel guitly for by leaving as well. Now by leaving Dru broken he's come to have what he's been wanting since he was 17......but at what cost he would ask. I think Buffy should worry a bit, for with all he's gone through just how much does he have left really for he is broken as well, by choices he had made and I have to say his part in further breaking Dru.....sane or otherwise how hard is it to love a man and try to accept he never really loved you to begin with and was using you to hide from the one he was truly in love with........It's a fine line to say he didn't have anything to do with her going totally over the edge, for he was the catalyist that made the final push.....unfortunate but true in some aspects....if he'd not been in Dru's life at the time something else might have been the straw that broke the camels back...but in this instance it was Spike.....for she did voice what had pushed her over to doing what she did......and what she sighted was true.....sane or insane rejection or finding out your second best cannot be an easy thing to realize......sane she might have walked away and found someone else to love.....being on the border of sanity it was enough to push her over the edge.....and for that Spike does feel some guilt and in some way logically it makes sense.....now he needs to deal with the fact he's found what he has been looking for but at the cost the mental anguish he's put himself and Dru through. Great Chapter in letting Buffy see his pain and weakness and possible not being able to fight by herside for them....but also letting her love still give her the fighting chance to fight for him and their love......he will need that.......

ohoh that sounds like trouble's coming... I hope they'll be able to make it and that Spike will surprise her and be able to fight for them. Can't wait for more

Now you're really getting to the root of thier problems. Great chapter. I love how they expressed thier fears and doubts.

Spike might be a little broken now but we all know that when it comes down to fight for the woman he loves he will fight to the death! Great chapter. Can't wait for the next!
