Gotta go to bed or I would be on part 16 next.
God this story is both horrific and beautiful.
With such a dreadful start I hope it has a happy ending.

I've loved every Spander fic you've written, but this one, this one has reduced me to tears in every chapter Josie. Every one. And chapter 30? After that, the box of tissues was close by...and in 34? If i cried anymore I was sure to dehydrate. Wonderful work. Absolutely wonderful. Never ceases to amaze me how well you write about these characters. I hope to see more of your lovely works here on AFF.

A wonderful and sweet ending to your story. I'm sorry to see it end. One little thing, during Dawn's memorial, you have Xander and Dawn falling to their knees. Did you mean Xander and Spike?

Oh, what a wonderful ending to such a roller coaster ride of a story. I'm still crying from the beauty of this telling of what happened when things got so much better. The family, the extensions to it, the love and caring of them all for each other. Sigh. Such a wonderful story, especially once the first few chapters were gotten over. I am glad that I stuck with this story, as it got so much better for the characters, and for the readers. I understand why the first few chapters were so harsh. How could we appreciate what the two bois found in Sam if we hadn't known what went on before they found him. Thank you, thank you, for what has turned out to be a wonderful, uplifting, loving story.

I love this story an have thouroly enjoyed it. I have also studied World War II specifically the Holocaust and the third Riech and the parallels that you have drawn, both acknowledged and not in your story are amazing. You have created a truly wonderful piece of work. I look forward to the next chapter.
