Oh man. You don't pull any punches, do you? I love how you avoided the whole "Spike/Buffy gets captured and Buffy/Spike comes to the rescue" in the cemetery. Can't want to see what happens next. What a cliffhanger!!

It's amazing so far. I dare say you understand the characters better then Joss himself. It's nice that Buffy finally has some sort of a backstory.. I never really connected with the whole primal thing. They never explained it in the detail that you do, and I find myself feeling much more empathy for the characters. Keep up the good work.. and as long as you keep Buffy and Spike together, I'll keep reading.

Now I'm sort of confused with this chapter. Why does Buffy want to patrol? Spot of violence? Will she and Spike leave town and travel the world together? More story please.

Well I'm more than a bit gutted. Saw your update on BSC but for some reason the link for your story doesn't work on my crappy box there. So I rushed to read it here and now no text comes up for the story. I can read the titles but nothing else. Bugger I'll have to cope with reading the reviews till I can get to town and get to the internet cafe. Sob......

Interesting discussion of Good and evil. I agree with Joyce that it was kind of hard to swallow on the first pass. I bet if she told Giles the same thing he would be looking for the cult deprogramming books!
