Just thought I'd weigh in on the plot vs porn comment in your author's note of this chapter. I'm thoroughly enjoying the more plot to porn ratio. : ) I like smex as much as the next person, but sometimes it gets to be a bit much and the plot is good. :) Loving this entire series very much. (even if I've started skimming the sex scenes. LOL

Ok where IS IT??? Friends next in the series?? I want it. Still too many hints about whats coming up, missing pieces, the mating, The reactions of the old gang? Lovely Mrs J.'s reaction to El and Trev, and does she ever get to figure out what Xan and Spike are? She seems a bit too intuitive not to know somethings different there. Bah no e-mail or group listed for updates either.

AFF doesn't seem to list dates for posting, so I can't tell how long this series has been on hold, but I, for one, am greatly looking forward to more of it. Now I'm not only a S/X fan but also a T/E/R fan.
I'm very intrigued by the claimed-mated-consort hierarchy. I'm not sure I've seen it divided that way before, maybe as two steps or levels, but not three. And I like the idea. Although a part of my brain is waiting for Spike to ask Xander to have his babies to repopulate the Aurelius line too -- ACK! I hope not. No male preg, please! Maybe they can talk HyPatia in to that. :-)
And wait, they're about to be Mated and you didn't say what's involved? Wah! Now that I'm thinking there's a difference, I want to know more about it. *sigh* Aside from wanting to read that much more hot sex. :-)

Hey Tis. AP here. i know it's been a while since you wrote this, but I'm just now getting around to reading it...and LOVING it.
This sentence though...one the best sentences in fanfic, of all time:

Sorry I've been AWOL, blame Katrina, as I live (liveD) in New Orleans. Just relocated and will be catching up with all the deliciousness that is my addiction. I've been So Darned Deprived!!! On the bright side, my entire family is safe and well, and things are coming together for newness and betterness on my end, so all is fine. :)
