I usually avoid AFF because I find the dreck to gem ratio alarmingly high. Your story is definitely among the gems and has renewed my faith in this website. Your story has wit and charm, excellent characterizations, sentence structure and an actual plot! Which is interesting!!! Bravo! Keep up the good work.

Well I hate to be a spoilsport and I realize that Spike being in love/lust with Faith is supposed to be a catalyst for Buffy to realize what she has, etc., but I don't like the implications of it. It's implying that the only reason why Spike has ever been interested in Buffy is because she's the Slayer. I have always been one of those Spuffy fans that argued that he really does love her for her, not just because she's the Slayer. It's a means to an end. But it implies that Spike is with Faith because she's the Slayer.

Also, Buffy's prophetic dreams are about her death in the other reality, right? 'Cause in the reality that she is currently inhabiting Faith would be the one that would have to sacrifice herself to save Dawn.

hey Rose..thank-god the Riley has left the buidling...just hate that guy!!!! Lets hope she gets back soon to yummy Spike...she owes him some lovin:)

Thanks for being through with the (GAG) Biley bits. Don't mind Spaith half as much since Spike deserves someone to care about him, regardless of the dimension or AU. More please.

Couldn't agree more on the Biley in the series. But I tend to think Spike being Spike, and therefore much more...um...intense than Riley, that they couldn't show too much of him and Buffy at any particular moment.

Keep going, love this story.

You know, I've imagined all sorts of AUs for Buffy... the "the Scoobies don't abandon Faith in that craphole of an apartment, she moves in with Buffy, and they fall in love" scenario, the "Buffy has the guts to acknowledge her feelings for Spike, and takes their relationship out into the open" scenario, etc.

You've writte an absolutely wonderful AU, one I'm enjoying tremendously, more so than the ones I've imagined... More, please!

Speaking of which, have you considere some Buffy/Faith fics?

great AU and great fic! i was wandering... there will be some more interaction between buffy & this spike? i really can't stand the idea that there could be an AU where spike isn't in love with buffy... that seems to me a part of his true nature. I mean, in AU things go different... different chices and decisions and so on, but a person's inner part shouldn't be the same? Well, if i have to stand some spaith at least gimme a little spuffy! lol... but i know that's your AU and u are doing really fine!
