Yes! I have been waiting for a chapter like that to happen! Finally a relationship with a bump in the road. It's always good to put some strain between Buffy and Faith like that! I wonder if Faith will ever forgive Buffy for saying their relationship was nothing. There's got to be some fighting somewhere in there!

let me tell you, reviews like that are what make it cool to write fanfiction. you're both detailed and tell me what is and isn't working. thanks.
it's funny that the 'buffy's' missing thing came up, because i was going to address that in the next chapter. angel was so pissed at buffy, which you will def see later, because he did hear them. i'm gonna explain why he didn't in the next chapter. kennedy, the only other person with superhearing(the others were far enough away to not hear...faith could hear them, but it was only tiny noises, i.e. creeks, moans, that were keeping her awake), was also able to hear them, and that's why she didn't really contribute except to defend willow. faith's gonna find out later that kennedy knew. hopefully, this'll satisfy your discrepancies.
fox_feather, i think that it was really possible for willow to react like that with faith. i got the impression that she hadn't so much forgiven faith in the last couple episodes, but that she was exhausted and couldn't bother giving problems. they only had the one hospital scene in Dirty Girls, and there wasn't really any making up there. i think willow has been putting up with faith, but now that a few weeks has passed and they've been allowed to recuperate, she feels comfortable enough to go off on something she feels strongly about. and we HAVE seen willow be resentful in the past over people's relationships, even if it was kind of unfair.
yeah, cordy's gonna play a big role in the rest of the story... if you read the summary for the story, it describes something that really hasn't happened yet. in the next few chapters, there's gonna be some drama and big bad stuff going on with in the group. so... thanks for reviews.... thanks everyone. hope you enjoy.
