I just realized. The sad stories that I usually read are the Xander/Spike ones, but I don't usually know they are sad until it is too late and I am crying.

This story made me sad, and I cried. It was beautiful, and happy, but at the same time so sad. Good good. :`( :-)

Equisitely heart breaking... the characterisations on the money and the plot line so very sad... A tissue warning is warranted but for all the right reasons... thank you

I read the summary and I wanted to read your story, and I did but you see when I read *tear whatever alert* I didn't actually expect myself to cry. But I did! You had me crying, bawling like a baby! I mean I can't tell you how many different times I just burst into tears, my mother thinks I've lost my mind! I think the reason I cried harder than I normally would when reading some tragic love story thing is that I have two gay uncles, who are deeply in love and I love them with all of my heart, and just thinking about one of them dying like that and having to leave the other behind just breaks my heart. I can't tell you how horrible it would be. This was so beautiful and so well written, I love this story so much! It wormed it's way so deeply into my heart. Bravo.

Your story was perfect. It was so sweet and just everything I like in a story... and I can't believe you made me cry... I never cry... if that says anything, that is how great your story is. Great Job.

beautifully written story, but waaaay too sad to read before bed .poor xander, poor spike.xander telling spike he was tired and just wanted to rest was just what the husband of someone i know said on the night he died, so that touched home a bit. loved it all, hope spike can be happy with the person he has met.

so sad, i think i'm gonna cry. *tear*, by the way love all of ur stories, keep writing
