I Love Angel/Riley pairings and this one was the best, please continue, and I would like to request a Riley/Angel/Graham pairing. Could you please do it?

GAH! You got me all happy, and then stopped! Can we have some cuddling plus soon? On with the kissage! Oh, can we see some Spander? I like Spander! But, yeah, I like how this was mostly a groping chapter, but there was still some planning and plotting. Yay for plotting...

Good to see you back. However, I have to admit to be embarrassed at not knowing exactly which comment you were answering, my earlier character inquiries or the note I left for RudeMuch. If it is that, I am more ocnfused. You'd have to be beyond blind not to notice someone haivng sex in the same room I would think. Of course, it's 03:47, so I might just be dense right now. Regardless, I am enjoying your story. I don't have to agree with everything you write, or even understand it to like it. I continue to like your characterizations on the whole and appreciate your respect for the characters and your readers. I find that sadly lacking in some fan fiction. Can't wait for more.

RudeMuch, ---Xanpet, ya know how stubborn the hayseed is being about this.? Spike was clearly conflicted, but he too intimately understood from where his sire stood. What Angel had threatened Riley with he had done to his childe and more with far less provocation. ?Riley needs to learn what it means to be mated to a master vampire.?---i assumed he was talking about Xander but couldn't really see the Scoobies et al going for this. So, I was a bit confused.

I spent the series alternately liking and hating Xander, but mostly the latter. But your version of Xander-- there's a man I can wholeheartedly like. He isn't OC, you have just taken the best of the character and expanded on it, making what were sometimes his weaknesses in the series strengths. Like using his nattering small talk to comfort and anchor rather than annoy and insult. You've done a great job with him. As always, I really enjoy your use of the language. I especially liked "borrowed comfort". Xander's explanation in the beginning of this chapter helped to alleviate my concerns over Angel's behavior, and his echoing of my concern for Riley's mental health wrapped it up very nicely for me. I enjoyed getting some additional exposition on the previous hints about Riley being damaged goods. Looks as if you have found a clever way of making him a good long-term match for Angel, with an extended lifespan. I'm a bit puzzled by the submissive play-acting in the last part, as it seems likely to get Graham into trouble trying to rescue him, but I believe you will make it all clear in later chapters. This was an excellent chapter and well worth the wait. Thanks!

I too was wondering when it would be updated. And yes I felt that it was weird that Angel did a 180 and was bossing him around. At first I thought he just didn't want Riley to fight because. Parden me. His ass was sore. Lol.

But anyway. PLEASE update.

Um-not meaning to sound too demanding but...what's up! It's been way more than three days and I'm having the DTs. The break has however given me time to reflect on something that I found wasn't sitting well with me in the story. And that is the role that Angel seems to be trying to push Riley into in the last chapter. I actually went back to review the rest of the story to identify the source of my unease. It feels to me like Angel is treating Riley less like a Consort or a mate and more like an underling or a minion. And in the earlier parts of the story he was impressed by the strength of Riley and the idea that he was an equal and now Angel or Angelus of the Amalgem seems to be trying to make him extremely submissive. It just didn't feel right to me. And then I read Krimson's review and I was at least glad to see that I wasn't just imagining things. I'm not sure where you're trying to take the dominant/submissive thing but I will stay the course.

Um-there will be an update soon right? Right? Right?

P.S. Did I really read it right that Spike actually had sex with Xander in front of his friends to teach him a lesson or did I read that wrong?

You go, Xander! Not something I say often, not being a Xanfan. But he's acting as a true friend, willing to face off with Angel to protect Riley. I was disappointed in Wesley, so easily accepting an order to de-prioritize Riley's crisis. Even if he doesn't know Riley well, Wesley has a long history of standing up to Angel and doing what he believes to be right. I'm glad to see Riley fighting back this chapter, even if there's a heavy price for it. He can't accept being treated like a frail damsel and remain Riley Finn. Angel/Angelus are being foolish to expect it of him. Even to want it of him, or have they forgotten the thrill they got when they realized they were facing a near equal when they were sparring? Neither of them wants an obedient and submissive mate. I'm interested to see where this goes from here.
