I was trying to be strong and not read this until it was complete, but like the very weak fan girl I am, I gave in. So chuffed you decided to write a sequel to Second Verse and this is shaping up to equally as brilliant. Love that all the questions left from the first story are being addressed and am ridiculously happy that Spike let Xan continue to work at club.
Great writing, interesting story and lots of hot male fondling - what's not to love. Keep up the great work because addictions need feeding!

Ack! This is a very cruel cliffhanger. I demand resolution! And some sort of revenge on Xander's behalf. cuz yeah, that was just really mean. Very well writtern, I liked it.

Mwahahaha! Oh, Spike's not gonna like somebody messing with his tunes! The confrontation would be wonderful in the middle of the club. Hee. And goddess, I love your Spike! The voice you've given him fits well with cannon, even though he has secret little moments of soft, huggy kindness. And poor Xan, feeling all alone with everyone walking out on him. *sniffles* Very nice development of character, and I'm really curious as to who is going to be the token Master of the City, since Spike's obviously going to have influence (if they stay ...).

God I love your stories. I was so worried you wouldn't write a sequal to Second Verse. Anyway, I wanted to point out that chapter two is the same as chapter one. Not sure if you meant to do that or what not, but just in case I thought I might inform you of it. Oh and did I mention that I love reading you fics, you have such great writing skills and it has been so long since I've read something so well written. I would praise you some more but I fear it would just get repititious and annoying after awhile. Oh and I can't wait to see Gunn and Spike 'try' to get along...oh and I would love to see Gunn like hug Xander or something of the like just to see Spikes reaction.
