A wonderful story!
I agree, Xander would still be Xander, no matter where he lived, babble and wardrobe included ;)
The beginning was funny and I liked how the met. Actually, I liked the whole set up, from the Cassidy-bite to the bemon submitting to Xander/host.
It's just so bloody well written that I can't help but love the whole story!
And I love that you've made a sequal ^_^ So I'm just gonna go and read it now ;)

its sad it really is i read the sequel b4 i read this one-but oh well now i understand all the stuff i didnt understand b4 so it works out ok i guess. i luv ur story i really enjoyed this one and the other one too

Really enjoyed the story!

I started out liking this story, really different and it was great finding such a cool sounding plot. I loved the first couple of chapters, Xander and Spike meeting up for the first time was really HOT, but then Spike's additude towards Xander really turned me off. I read just enough to know Spike didn't rape Xander, neither did Cassidy, which really had me sigh with relief, but I just don't think Spike deserves Xander, soul and demon alike, so of couse i had to stop reading the chapter before it leds to sex and I wake up my sister by screaming at the computer of how Spike's being an asshole. Of course Xander can't go with Angel to have him help deal with his demon 'cause I think Angel would just end up making Xander feel bad for having a demon, though I know Cordy wouldn't care, she's lovely in your story. But I do think your idea for this story is good, but Spike's additude really puts me off. Ta.

Truly amazing...

This is a good story but is it realy complete? What will happen when Gunn and the other vampire hunters find out about Xander and Spike? Is Xander going to keep his job? Does he want too and if so, then will Spike be jealous? There is so much you can still do with the story. I hope you make a sequel to it. :)

Oh, that was good. Nice claimant sex, and independantly dependant Xan! *purrs* I thought you did really well with the way you set up this world. It's an idea that could have gone so bad, but you kept us connected to Sunnydale and acknowledged that this is an alternate earth without pounding it in our heads. I do have to wonder if this is the end, though? What happens when Gunn and the crew find out? With Alanna alive, does Gunn ever join Angel? With Xander keeping Spike in line, could they join Angel?

Oh, and the Sunnydale tidbits almost call for a sidestory. Buffy in a coma? Did Kendra get called? And without Drucilla to kill her is she still the Slayer? Hintage that Willow became witchy with the soul-restoration ... is she following that? What about the First coming along and blowing the hell out Sunnyhell? Gah! You left us hanging on so many points. Will there be anything more?

Not so much a review as some appreciative feedback for an excellent fic. This was just fantastic Spander. Girl, if this is your first fic in the Spander arena I can't wait to see more. Loved the alternate storyline and your different take on the pet/claiming rituals - really well thought out idea that worked nicely. I hope someone has pointed you in the direction of Bloodclaim, a Spander community - you should post this fic there. Happily you have already been pimped there so expect lots more fb for your sexy, lovable, wildly entertaining fic:-)
