This story was beautifully done. You managed to capture the depression that goes along with the loss of a child (shutting people out, feeling alone in your grief) but managed not to let it overwhelm the point of the story. Their reunion (while I wish it was longer, talking and explainations, and well, the sex too.) was just the right micture of love, forgiveness and understanding. I really enjoyed this story and for a short piece it was wonderfully done. Good luck on your next project. I'll be looking for it.
