I love it! I can't wait until the next chapter. Buffy still needs to knock Spike down a peg or two. She is as innocent in this mess as the fang gang, Spike is the one who chose to stay away and if Buffy found companionship in the mean time than that's Spike's problem and not hers. Spike needs to eat a little humble pie before getting on with the Spuffy. Update soon because i'm so hooked.

Please dont think that I am not enjoying this story, because I AM!!! BUT bloody hell can we give Buffy a break, having Angel playing holier than now is really starting to get to mje. I dont care how much Buffy hurt Spike in the past he would NEVER treat her like that!!!!!!!!!!!!! You really have some I hate Buffy issues and its taking away from the great story you are writing...
I have always loved your stuff Madrog but please tell me Buffy gets some rocks and comes out fighting!!!!!!!

This story really got under my skin when I started reading it. I loved the entrance Spike and Angel made when they first got to the house, but I hated the way Buffy was acting. However, I couldn't stop reading it and I couldn't wait for the next chapter to come out to see what was going to happen next. I've read a lot of stories where the writers had the characters doing something that I thought was just completely out of character that I just couldn't finish because it just wasn't believable. Your story is so well written that even though I wish Buffy would stop acting the victim and I wish Spike would stop being an ass, you have me believing that that isn't the way it is. So while I agree that they should just stop this dancing around and JUST TALK ALREADY, I'll keep right on reading because I think you'll make it all worth while in the end. Thank you!!

I love when Angel and Spike get on well, and your plot is really good. This story is better every day. Go on.

Hmmm, I'm waiting for Spike to get the smack down he deserves......Buffy has had more then her share right now and he needs to get called on his piss poor behavior....since coming to Cleveland. I'm liking Nina more and more at the moment and I think she needs to have a nice talk with Spike maybe and tell him what an ass he is......I HATE Dawn at the moment, and Willow too, for they both, more Dawn then Willow, have the power to set everything straight about the Immortal and has chose to keep their mouth shut. I veiw it as a betrayal of their so called caring about Buffy. I hope someone calls them on it as well, especially Dawn not telling Spike about the spell the bad rude man had over her and Buffy. They both seem not to care that Angel and Spike have the wrong impression about Buffy, as long as they are back in their good graces.....I"m glad Angel is coming around, that was a nice surprise. I hope Spike wakes up and smells the coffee pretty soon, LOL! And I hope Buffy's spine gets a bit more straight and stronger and finally stands up for herself a bit more and call Spike on his childish behavior.....but we have the Yukon giving us the prospect of this happening or whatever you have to surprise us with.....looking forward to what you have instore for us. I just hope Buffy gets a chance to confront the Immortal to taking advantage of her mind, body, and for spelling her bratty sister too, LOL.
PS
I would have loved Buffy to have said to Spike at the end of their sparring, something like, "I wasn't fighting to the death. I was fighting to get noticed. Now if I thought you were looking for the one good day, I never would have landed on my ass, you'd be dust or whatever hybrid vamps do when they get staked......" don't ask me why, it just popped there and would not leave until I shared it with you, LOL!
waiting, not so patiently, LOL, to see what you are going to do next.....I'm happy ole Blue is staying behind......LOL

Was really thrilled to see an update. Still think Angels being pretty high and mighty with his forgiveness. But glad to see Buffy being less of a wimp. I do like this fic update soon.

In the past I have been a big fan of your writing, however, I'm having a really hard time with this one. I like Angel and Spike being mistrustful of the Scoobies and I loved the scene where they first walked into the Watcher's Council. The thing I'm having trouble with is the wimpy Buffy who runs to her room and cries and stands in the background and pouts. I keep waiting for her to snap and put them in their place for acting as arrogant as they are. Maybe get back some of that old chemistry she had with Spike. Instead she just keeps simpering in corners. I do think its a good story overall, and I know that Buffy does deserve some slack for some of her past mistakes. I just like her character better when she has a spine.

Really good, but really depressing. Poor Buffy! (And I would normally never say that, but I think she's kind of taking a lot of the flack that's not really hers.) Dawn and Willow are pissing me off. Can't wait to read more. Thanks.
