aww... that was so sad. it was incredibly good. giles whacking isn't exactly a thought i pursue, but this wasn't about that. it was about his loneliness, and that made it not so weird. great job, it really was tragically terrific.~

I enjoyed this, mostly because I guess I've always felt the same way about Giles, how his loneliness affects him, and how he handles it.

Awwww, so sad - really feel for poor Rupes here. Well done - need it doublespaced into paragraphs, though.
Just two more thoughts: Never noticed he was lefthanded; maybe I should watch the show more closely - 'course, it was a couple of years before I noticed Data was lefthanded.
And....
Margaret Thatcher?! Did you get that from that scene in Austin Powers?

I enjoyed this story very much. An interesting twist to the usual fic I see.
Damn, you had to pair the Buffster up with Captain Cardboard. It was destined to end before it ever began, but I'd rather see her back with Angel. Did I mention that I feel Giles and Buffy are fated to be together in far more than the Watcher/Slayer copacity?
Though he's back in England, and no longer her Watcher, you know 'the life' is still part of Giles. Any woman he's involved with would have to understand and accept. Jenny was the only one so far... had she not died, I think they could've gone far.
