Well, I've read more than a few of the stories here at AFF.net, as well as some of the others from Buffysmut. I can see my way to following something like " Breaking a Slayer " by DarkRhiannon as by its presentation of F/M/M. From some other sites I've seen some S/W stuff that sounds (reads) consistent in dialog and character features. And, yes, there is a bit more than "just some" that feels childish; hardcore is OK, but some is just painful to look at, let alone trying to concentrate on reading it.
With this one, Buffy and Spike were presented at clearly as possible. The talk they had when Spike got home, with these last six + years of seeing and hearing All of the cast and writers display these people we've come to know and love.....felt so very right. As the words and feelings continued to reveal themselves, you could close your eyes and see Sarah and James doing this. Meshing in words, hitting their marks, who would the camera be on, it all just felt just like it would, if it was a shot scene.
The rest of the story, beginning through end, and yes, her private sexy dance, too. Solid.
Besides, if they WERE real, I would wish nice things on both of them. But of the two, I would wish a little more happiness Spikes' way. I think he deserved it.

I love this fic! It's Spuffy goodness in a neat little package. I am in serious need of Spuffy happiness. I have a feeling Joss is going to screw us Spushipshippers in the end.
