The Spike-torture plot could turn out well. However, the OOC portrayal of Angel is a problem. Angel would not sell Spike out like this. He wouldn't do it to soulless Spike, and he definitely would not to ensouled Spike. Angelus might. Angel wouldn't. Do you hate Angel? You could have written the same plot in a more believable way by having a demon kidnap Spike. I just don't see the point to trashing Angel.

Sorry but this just doesn't read like Angel to me or are we going to discover in a later chapter than Angelus is back? And what does this mean: "Given my druthers, I?d be at rest."?

Wow, interesting idea, more please.
