I have to say that I never really took to the Groo character, and really don't like to see Angel with any long-term lover other than Buffy.
However, in this case I am very pleased to be able to eat my words. I loved this story, and the follow-up, 'Amnchara'. I felt that they were characterised in a way that even I, a non-believer, could actually believe might be possible. This story makes the very best of ffy ffy piece of canon, and is beautifully written.

Different, in a good way. This is the only Groo/Angel I've ever seen.
