oh man this is absolutely awesome. I can't wait for more. It's so awesome that my cat has snuck up in from of me and I've just petted him instead of taking the time to put him onto the couch. Damn. If it wasn't for all the cat hair floating around and more importantly no more fic to read everything would be perfect right now. I'm so stunned I'm not even sure of what I'm writing down. Maybe I shouldn't have ever learned how to type so damn fast.

There isn't any date given for the publication of this, but I sure hope it is recent as it would kill me to see that it was abandoned. This is a marvelous fic and I would greatly be pleased to see it finished.

I have to say, the author was really a good writer, with showing Xander's misery. I could FEEL how unhappy and hurt Xander was.

Buffy apparently doesn't care that the Initiative is killing and experimenting on innocents. All that matters to her is that she has a lover, and she doesn't have to patrol as much. It was hard to belive that she would attack Giles, Willow, and Tara though. She always claimed to be better than Faith because she didn't attack humans. Now she is attacking people that have called her friend, and helped her for years.

The story just got even MORE interesting with the addition of Dru and Oz, and the story just stops. I guess it is abandoned since it has been a few years since the last update. It is a good story though. Maybe it could be given up for adoption so that another writer could finish it? It's a shame when an excellent story is just left unfinished like this.

You can almost SEE Xander, no Alexander, getting stronger. His name means protector, he has decided who his family, and he will do whatever he has to do to protect them. I like how the story was developing.
