This story is so tight, absolutely aching with a perfect emotional climax. The two of them looking for meaning in a meaningless world, hoping to find it in each other and knowing, in the end, that they can't. Love and distance the constants of their relationship. Their limits--each knows what they are, even if they don't like to admit it. And the sex, each scene feeding the other, each scene feeding off the other. Spike was pure crystal, the only warmth in the story. Angel was cold, domineering, corrupt. And yet at his heart, something needy, open. Buffy just wanted to be loved.
Beautiful. This is going on my hard drive to read over and over again.

Hey!! I just finished reading your story and it was AMAZING!! I don't really know what else to say about it. The ending was sad. But I loved the way you wrote Angel, he was a mix of both Angelus and Angel. It was good. I also like the part with Angel showing his power over Spike. Anyways, GREAT story!! keep up the good work.
