Ch. 7 The website indicates that this was updated in 2004. But I have a printout that dates from 2003. So evidently you made some changes in it without adding any subsequent chapters.

I was riveted from this story from the first chapter. The idea of Slayers dying young is nothing new; that comes with the job. But being maimed for life is whole new territory and you mined the subject with exquisite precision.

I picked up your unfinished story from a pile of other such WIPs and re-read it just last night; it was as wonderful as I remember. But I'm hoping that you finish it. It's a faint hope after all these years but one I cling to for a tale as good as this. (It's also a favorite because it has no Spike but that's a minor reason.)

Try finishing it if you can. Your other fans are clearly hoping that you will.

that was good. cordy can be such a dosy bint. i wonder what would happen if angelus came out to play? you know since angel(us) marked buffy as mate i wonder if angelus would react to her differently with that in mind? can't wait to see more

This story was last updated over 3 years ago. Are you ever going to finish it? I'm still wondering how Angel is going to deal with Buffy's hostility and whether or not they can make a life together. :(

Ch. 7 DR, I hate to be a nag. But, screw it, I'm going to nag. When are you going to continue this story? Your faithful reader has been waiting a dog's age just for a new chapter but I've yet to see one. I love this story. It's one of my favorite B/A fanfics and you're letting your readers down by not providing a continuation. If you have the complete story posted elsewhere, just let me know and I'll go there to read it. (You see, this is why I NEVER post WIPs; it's so unfair to the readers.)

Ch. 7 Rhiannon, I realize that RL has its claims on people and I've no idea what your personal situation is. But this is a fine B/A story that has been languishing unfinished for ages. When are you going to finish it? Are you ever going to finish it? BtVS and Angel: The Series are long over. But now that David Boreanaz has a new series coming up this month, I've experienced a renewed interest in the Angel character that makes me wish great fanfics like this would come to some satisfactory conclusion. It's not that I ever lost sight of this story (it's among the fics listed on one of my Yahoo! groups, after all) but I was hoping you'd finish before now. Why not conclude this particular story of yours, at least? There are still a lot of diehard B/A fans out there; don't forget about us. Pwwwweeeease?
