Interesting start, I curious where you're going with this. What a great use of the whole slayer connection thing! I can't wait see how Buffy's injury effects the slayer relationship.

Oh my god, I really like this. Its original, and I like that. I've never read a fic where Buffy lost her voice. Continue!
