You've said that you've had troubles with this one...well, the story doesn't show it at all. Smooth as can be, and really sweet, too. I was also glad to see another writer who has to deal with real life too...keep it up, and I look forward to your next post, whenever it might be. :)

Ok hating Joyce really bad. She needs to smacked up or something. Great Chapter. Nice interaction involving dawn too. How sweet are they all cuddled together.

The plane sex was short and hot, and a nice prelude to the tension filled homecoming. I'm glad you made Giles observant, putting Spike and Buffy in the same bedroom will make conversation and comfort much easier and believable. Joyce's attitude was harsh, but the plot necessitated her coldness. I love the dialogue in this and the plot is progressing quickly but never feels rushed.

I'm very much enjoying this. The dialogue is true and charming, and the pace brisk.
You surprised me with Giles figuring it out, and yet remaining calm about it. Joyce... I find it hard to have much sympathy for Joyce in this story, although I wouldn't be surprised if that changed. For now I'm just wincing on Buffy's behalf at how Joyce's stepson has been pretty much adopted while Buffy's practically been disowned. And how that will affect how she takes the news of their relationship.

YEAH BABY the MILE HIGH CLUB, awesome. I was hoping you would put that in there. Joyce just needs to be smacked. She just pushes Buffy aside and doesn't care. Giles trying to not to think of them as a couple is great. I am sure though that things are about to go from bad to really worse before this visit is over. Whooooooooo so happy for an update
