Great story. I enjoy the first-person narrative from Faith; you have done a nice job capturing her voice. I know that you see no money for this work, but it is quality writing like this that makes me happy to donate to sites such as AFF. I look forward to the next update.

I think Joyce needs to have a talk with her daughter. You can't use people like that or string them along. That's exactly what she did and would continue to do had not Faith put a stop to it. You would think Joye raised her better. How can she justify doing what she did to both Faith and Riley? As much as BtVS fans don't like him, Riely has feeling too. As for Faith, I say about freaking time. My heart breaks for her but she is doing extactly what she has to do. I hope she is strong enough to leave Buffy and stay away. If Buffy wants her 'normal life' with her 'normal boyfriend' so bad then go for it. Best of luck B and good to be rid of you.

I really don't know how Buffy expects Faith to belive a word that comes out of her mouth again. Ever. The fact that Faith trusted her once was amazing and if she ever trusts Buffy again it would be nothing short of a miracle. A miracle that I am hoping never happens. Buffy is a user through and through. Buffy is dathing Riely to pleese her firends. Right, and I'm the Queen of Rock and Roll.

this story is amazing...it really pulls at the heartstrings. It's got so much goin for it...
and i have to admit that i'm sorta hatin on Buffy at the moment. But i hope she does something that will ease all of Faiths pain away....

lol. But honestly, I have been following this for a while now and it just rocks. I love the eay you wrote it and everything. I can seriously feel it. And I feel so freaking bad for Faith and I know it totaly sucks but I am rooting her on....
I also want to throw a BIG fat tomato at you you little cliff hanger you! Bad! lol. jk.
I wonder what Faith is going to say? And poor girl, I bet Buffy is going to throw it in her face maybe even too. Sometimes when you hurt, you lash out in anger, and ouch, make things bad.
And I totaly agree with Faith, and hell, she has put up with a lot of shit.
And Buffy is using her, being selfish in her feelings if you ask me. I wouldnt be surprised if she tries to fight back using phrases like "But if you loved me..." and "You dont understand" and all those other nice nasty phrases, lol.
But ouch, talk about some hurt that she is causing Faith. I wouldnt want another relationship like EVER either! And I mean heck, I can see where she is lead to beleive that Buffy doesnt really love her. I can understand that.
lol, I LOVE the Angst, I think it make a story good, but that is just me, lol.
