Patty: There is no need to defend or justify your story. It's your creation. If others don't like the premise, they can choose to stop reading. In the meantime, I'll be reading to find out where you take this story and I am sure you won't let us down. You never have before. I, too, don't particularly like the one or the other treating each other bad but it is many times necessary in order for a story to exist, it needs a plot and some obles les to overcome before getting to the Spuffy gooey center. So, go for your idea and keep up the great work.

I'm a big fan of your stories. I'm glad that Buffy's getting treated crappily by Spike! Please continue. Go Spike!

I can't say that I enjoy the premise of this story, from what I've seen so far. Seeing one person treat another shabbily like this is painful to watch -- I didn't like seeing Buffy do it to Spike, and I don't like seeing Spike do it to Buffy either. I t tht think it reflects well on either one of them, and I don't find it at all satisfying. I may have misunderstood, but the premise seems to be that this story should be enjoyable because Buffy "deserves" to be treated this way for how she treated Spike. I guess I'm the wrong audience, because I don't particularly *want* "to see Buffy take it the way she dished it out" -- my fault, I was warned about it. I think both characters were partially to blame for the messthe the Spuffy relationship, and it seems that Buffy is being unfairly villainized here.

This is just my opinion. I think you are a very talented writer -- this is just my gut reaction to a fic that, rightly or wrongly, seems to focus on thultsults of only one of the characters.

Well now isn't that something. I wonder if the soft underbelly that she shows Spike is on view to all or is she tough/confident slayer girl outside of her interactions with him? Gstarstart.

You know, I'd never liked the way Buffy treated Spike, and I sor sorry for him, but now I really understand how cruel she was. This is a very interesting fic, and I can't way to read more.

I'm absolutely loving this. It's hilarious to see their positions switched like this. I hope you continue with this. It's an incredibly clever idea. :)

OMG OMG OMG! You HAVE to write more! I'm loving it already! Poor Buffy. I feel so bad for her. I'm really hoping Spike's being all gruff and stand offish is 'cause he's fighting how he's feeling about her and doesn't want her to get hurt. I'm hoping here. Anyway, please update soon!
