I actually agree with Spike to a point on Angel's chance of redemption. As long as Angel refers to his unsouled self as another person , even though he shows guilt , it's really not enough. To achieve redemption for a wrong there must be consciousness of guilt and that means the guilt belongs to you. By calling himself Angel and referring to himself when unsouled as another person , Angel has distanced himself somewhat from the crimes he committed. Once he FULLY accepts that Angel and Angelus are the same person with only guilt to seperate them then his actions to redeem himself will take on more meaning and he will be closer to the redemption he seeks. Not to mention that when he had the Shanshu dangling in front of him as a reward it made it where any acts he did thinking that it made him closer to Shanshu were inherently selfish because they were in expectation of a reward. It's ironic that when he signed away the Shanshu, that's when he truly became worty of it.

Awesome chapter. Great writing...I feel as frantic as Buffy to find Spike. PLEASE UPDATE SOON!

Again wow. Terrific writing excellent plot I love Buf Buffy and Spike have come together so smoothly and naturally, It's like they've always been one.
