thus far the story is fantastic...wheres more? ^_^ xanders makes ME want to hug him and spike is a very serious yet kind (towards xan) character. i really like the storyline, and i cant tell you how much i love where you sound like youre going with this story. its original, heartwarming, and very very good. this is me encouraging you to write more. ^_^

CUTE!!!!! I just love 10-year-old Xan and how he calls Spike "his monster"! I can't wait to find out how it goes in Xan's teen years! UPDATE SOON!

This story is so utterly adorable that I just want to read more.
I can just picture little Xander having a birthday party with a bunch of vampires in a cemetary.
I can also picture the looks on his friends faces, at 16 or so, when Spike returns from Europe and Xander calls him 'my monster'.
Amusing, expecially Angel's face.

I am so glad to see an update of this. I loved it when there was only 2 chapters, now I love it even more.
"Anything to make the little prince smile for them"
especialy like that part, and how you make not only Spike , but the other 'monsters' care for little xan too.

Awe!! This story kicks ass!! *^^* I love the Xan/Spike interaction! The thought of Spike being 'Xander's monster' is just to cute! I hope you update soon and I'm curious as to how much of a bastard you'll be making Xan's dad? A lot of people really screw him up and that can be good or bad depending on how Xan reacts to him and what not. Goodluck!! ^.~*

I love this....oh my GAWD!!!! it is sooooo cute. I want to read more, please say you plan to do more and though this Spike is the big bad... by Xander being with him and his minions.... Xander's goodness and acceptance of them would change them to hunt evil humans and even fight the bad demons? This would be soooooo cool to read and see Spike teach him to hold his own and when Buffy did come along, maybe she wouldn't be needed or relied upon so much but Xander would be like the boss of the hellmouth under Spike. OH please say you plan on more of this truly wonderful story. Take care, JC
