This story is SOOO cool! I love it, please don't keep us waiting too long! You broke my heart in the last chapter though, you evil creature. Poor Spike. And I'm not sure I believe Rileys excuse anyway...;)

Ok, first thing, I don't believe Riley's excuse. (maybe it's because I've never really liked him, lol)
Second, I hope the happier chapters are on the way! I can only take so much angsty.
Also, I liked the whole 'Smashed' thing, although I would have liked it better if she hadn't run off so quickly. It seemed sort of anti-climatic.
And, lastly, for some reason this line totally broke my heart:
"I?I didn't mean?" Spike gave her an apologetic smile. "I'm British." Sweetest thing ever.
Can't wait for more!

Hmmmm
The only unhappy part is not letting Buffy find out if Riley is a cheater, cause I don't believe his story and she should have called the number and pretented to be Riley's bosses secretary and asked to talk to him, or something....and the fact Spike is going to go through more hell cause when he finds out about Buffy's true intent of sex was Riley revenge it will break his heart that he was the other man, but the how he thought of being it.
Anya is one smart cookie......cause either he can't get it up anymore or he's getting it up for someone else or he has a terrible crush with Rosie Palm and her five sisters.
I guess my real concern is who does she love and when is she going to open up her eyes stop acting SO stupid.....LOL, you only live once and so far Riley is not worth waiting to start living for......LOL

OMG! I absolutely love this story! It seems to me like Riley's having some sort of affair on af hif his business trips, so maybe Buffy'll find out and go take comfort in her gorgeous neighbor... Please keep updating this fic, it's really really great. Oh, and I agree. Solid plot development is much better than jumping straight to the smut.
