This is pretty good. I certainly enjoyed having a nice, long story to sit down with (heh, procrastination, thy name is fanfic!). You had a really good story, nice plot, and the act was was believable. I love Faith's painting as a description of her character development, especially how she can't destroy the paintings that are most a part of her. The reformation of the Watcher's Council and Angel being taken in by W&H's evil was good, too. If I were to make suggestions (and, hell, why use the conditional? I am going to make suggestions!), I think the biggest would be to watch your tense. It's all over the place, sometimes past, sometimes present, and it mixes up with no warning. It's awkward to read. The narrative intrusions (when you, as author, suddenly tell us something in the first person) are a bit jarring, too. Other than that, it's a pretty strong story that flows . T. The deaths at the end were interesting...the only way a normal life could ever be achieved? It's a different take on things, the reincarnation. Interesting, interesting. Made me actually want to read more about original characters. Which is saying something. So. Yeah. Much enjoyment by me was had. To Yoda it a bit. Go you!
