Beautiful - every Spuffy fan out there knows that this is what happened in that basement the night before the battle. And how bittersweet your story is knowing how the events of the next day ended. PS really nice to read of a loving, tender union between Buffy and Spike and not just a raw slapping of bodies. Nothing wrong with smut, but this was just so much more .... satisfying.

This is an absolutely beautiful story. Beautifully written. You've captured what I think was always missing from 'Chosen'. Thanks for sharing.

aw god...

this must be one of my favorite chosen' fics
a few re-tell what happend after we were shown that last
moment with buffy and spike standing a cupple of feet apart looking longingly at eachother.

That was a scene i thought was gonna be reviel'd in Angel season5...
It never was... but im oh so hoping well get some relief in that, in any comming angel or buffy
tv-movie...
