Hmm. Darker and more serious than I thought it would be, I there would be more humour less seriousness ie homeless issues. Not that this is a bad ting at all.
You have clearly done your research which is great, I really dislike reading a story and coming across a glaring error. I think you write really well and I liked the meeting between Buffy and Spike.
However I REALLY disliked the tower scene. I cant believe that Spike would be THAT callous. I think it was funny at first but it was taken too far, I felt like it was mental torture bordering on abuse. Buffy was really convinced she was going to die, was terrified and sobbing. Then to be touched sexually at that point and then humiliated by being made to wash the floor. Im sure u intended it to be funny i.e. spike getting his own back for the viagra (which was v.funny btw) but having worked in job dealing with victims of abuse this felt a little close to home. Sorry for the rant but its something that I feel quite strongly about.
Other than that one chapter I really do like the story, the Jack the ripper scene was great and spike would definately make a better monarch than any one of our royal family. Cant wait to see how the thing with Dru and Fred plays out.
PS. In the first chapter you have the queen say to the archbishop "forgive me father as I have sinned", the queen is a protestant so wouldnt refer to him as 'father' and say this as it is wis sis said by catholics only at confession.

Ever hear of DNA.....that baby Dru is carrying could be anyone's....Rupert and Spike are smart enough to tell her they will do nothing until the baby is born and proved by medical means that the baby is Spike's......That would have been the first thing Rupert would have said......and Spike needs to wake up and stop defending the, yes I'm going to say it, THE WHORE.
What is going to happen when Buffy ends up being the only one pregnant with Spike's child and he is already married to Fred.
Also everyone knows how old Spike is.....he was born the same day the young Prince was that is a given if indeed they were swid atd at birth.......
And Dru never would have made it on stage.....the hood would have been pulled back and inspected before she was allowed on stage her face would have been bare for the people too see, and security would have not allowed a unknown hooded person that close to the King.......

this is really good, I love the story, the details the charachters and their interaction. You an feel that you did your research, and it pays of. this fiction is too good to be true.
