Miz Sarah, are you a good witch or a wizard? How you can tell such a powerful love story of one person caring so much for another person, so willing to do anything to help them sort out wrong thinking and garbage attitudes/beliefs, well, it is magic, gris-gris like I have read about, only infrequently seen by my chosen family. My grandmother, my mother, my two nieces and me to a certain extent have the ability to see/know what there is no reason for us to know. I don't care a fig what others think about this information--I share it to preface what I write to you now. You have used a most unusual canvas for your beautiful, strange art. You have picked the most ordinary words, placing them in such order that you create sense out of an activity senseless to me. I understand sex as healing; never could have would have imagined those activitites to provide a safe healing place for one so wounded. Man, you GOT Spike's voice, his persona, his vital, dead honest, loyal energy down to a laser portrayal--Buffy is perfect tortured guilty, dying becos she cannot face living. However shocking the language and the activity are, the results are universel and soothing, comforting. I had been tickled by your other stories, liked the humor of them so much. This one is much more mature, more true somehow. You spin your tales so prettily, one almost forgets the canvas which you use is quite beyond the pale. You have created a most unique arena from which to lay out your characters, the beloveds. What a bright, clever, twisty mind you have--how wonderful it is that you have chosen to share with others. Thank you.

Wow. Woven through all of the games, there was a beauty to this. With Buffy's emotional confessions, with Spike's sincere desire to help her...I think you captured something special here.

I liked it. Well written, and there was some plot with the smut.

I love the ending. It has the hot raunchy sex, with the love and sweetnes all all crave from our spuffy encounters. I especially liked when they discuss how her blood makes all of him warm- it was a really great point. Thank you for sharing this story with us. Can't wait to read more of your stories.

This is so hot. I love the affection Spike obviously has for Buffy and the hints of affection that Buffy shows for Spike. I like BSMD when the love is apparent, ane whe whole thing is a just a game (and not abusive). This story shows that perfectly. This is exactly what I thought of season 6 - neither Spike nor Buffy were completely innocent or completely abusive. Oh, and I want to hear what Spike has to say.
