No, this was a good chapter. Angel didn't come off as a baby at all - just someone hurting and in pain who hasn't yet gotten to the place where he can set back a bit to assess the situation and his feelings. Although I definitely think his talk with Spike is getting him there. Great interaction between the two nemisis/friends/brothers. I think the whole scene worked well. Now on to the smut!! ;) lol

Oh what a fine mess poor Buffy is in
My heartbreaks more for Spike, cause he has never been truly loved for himself.....Buffy, has never known what it is to love sooo great and not have it returned in kind......Angel, well seems Angel doesn't like being second best.... It think it is time for Angel to wake up and smell the blood burnin' and think like the mighty thinker/planner of his magnitude of being the elder of his clan.
He should know what has to be done....and be vampire enough to do it....he more or less is the head of the family and if he loves Buffy the way he says he does....he will act before Spike reacts and does something terrible......
God, I can't wait for the next chappie....and I'm glad you had a great time and James is still flirty.....even though he is more grown up about now.....not taking his shirt off any more and all.......LOL!
