I think it's lovely; the angst and self-doubt and all the f*cked up shit Spike was going/had gone through made me heart clench constantly. I was more than relieve to see the more normal Spike returning in the later part of the chapters. Only unsatisfactory thing was that aff.net has the publishing problem as usual and some chapter's ending did not make sense with the next chapter's starting. Anyhoo, thanks for the story!

aw no!!! much as i wanna c buffy n spike get 2gether,i luv fics lyk these when they actually have 2 work 2 get 2gether,rather than just saying 'wow,we have a gr8 connection,dontcha think?' n then just fucking wenever they get the chance...this is much more interesting n fun 2 read! oh yeah,poor xander...but he's kinda annoying,so wtf!
