Yes very happy with the spuffy! Beautiful way for picturing them together again , so tender and hopeful. ( Not painful death for Vassilissious , please ? )

Read chap.13 and 14 together , and it was a wonderful reading pleasure : I love Vassilious more and more . You're portraying a fascinating character , so full of doubts but slowly realizing the importance of the slayer's presence in his (un)life . I was so glad when he decided to help Spike , Angel

..and Willow to rescue Buffy . I do hope that he'll see her again .. You captured the growing understanding of each other , their easiness , in a lovely way .
The interaction between Vassilious , Willow and Spike at the end was so full-flavored . I enjoyed how you mixed action and emotion. Now I'm so impatient for the encounter between Spike and his beloved Buffy! But I sincerely hope to hear again about V?! Wonderful job , Lana !

Enjoying your tale immensely as always.
Oh and as to Angelus 'Happiness clause' If he should by chance feel complete happiness he would no longer be feeling guilty and remorse. If he was not suffering then the curse wasn't working.

Not to mention that just because he has a moment of

And I *cannot* wait for the S/B reunion scene! :) Also like the fact that everyone (well the major chars anyway) have been at least nominally in the story. Please update soon to resolve the cliffhanger (and to get to the spuffy)! :)

Sorry to not review before this, but I love your story - heck, I love all of your stories! You've done a great job of evolving the characters, letting them move on a little and grow up. I particularly like your strategy for explaining Spike's movements and decision to settle on Crete. Vass is just a lovely character and you've made him both different and enough like Spike to see how the situation with Argonia couldher her him so much. I like the way the Buffy-VAss conversations have worked. You are doing a kind of Stockholm Syndrome in reverse - he's not so much falling in love with Buffy as loving the options and examples she's showing him.
I'm guessing that we are coming down to the homestretch, which is always a mixed blessing. I'm really anticipating the reunion between Buffy and Spike and I'm really hoping that Vass can be saved from Argonia (who should go down in a huge conflagration). I like the vibe between Willow and Vass. Thank you again for this really excellent story.

I just finished chapter 4, and I have to tell you that I actually almost
cried when I read the part about Buffy having a marker placed to honor
Spike, and how she and Dawn sat by it and cried. 'He Was Loved' was
absoly thy the perfect inscription.
