Miz PattyAnne, darlin' your story wins! I couldn't stop reading til it was all read up and I feel ever so much better for the combo naughty new/walk down memory lane with Spike and Buffy. You got Spike so dead on it was like having him in the room (and I can't tell you how pleasent a fantasy that was when he was bare--oh lordy, the fountain was tre'yaya). I could so see the last ditch Buffy in the shower, Spike on the stairs. He is a natural lover, ever read Mr. Talky Mouth? Buffy's voice wasn't as strong for me becos she was such a mortal witch most of the time when I finally started watching it--plus she doesn't have the playful depth that Spike seems to. You write quick and smooth, not ususally together in writing--transistions are fine, graceful as Spike's questioning face, strong as Buffy's thighs. You made lovely use of the memory lane touches--the birthday party in the hall, I've always thought was so supremely subtlely sexy! so I'm glad you used it. It was nice to think she knew when he was being so cute, so sweet, so sexy, and had those 'ahhh' moments we've all had with our significant others. And the last bit, you don't have to if you don't want to out that he provides for her becos he really does love her beyond life. Glad you were willing to work so hard to bring this wonderful little riff out to light and sharing with all of us. I will now make a point to search out your other stories. Your premise was so fun, humor is so much sexier than just pounding parts--although there is something to be said for naughty behavior. Thank you for the highly readable, highly amusing story. Please more if you have it.

I finally got caught up on this story today. I had previously only read the first couple chapters. I love it! I was laughing so hard during the chapter when everything is reminding Buffy of sex, especially the grocery store items."don't even get me started on the kielbasa" had me practically in tears...wonderful writing. Very funny and sexy.
