buffy is really the queen of bad decisions, and she'll have to live with that...even if it is for a little while, becos spuffy right?
i really hated buffy for a moment there...for all she put spthrothrough, for living in denial so long and for making him miserable, hurting his feelings unnecesseraly, for taking him for granted, all on the account of her selfishness
you make a story, all-human based, but at the same time so buffyverse, becos spike being a vampire was just an excuse, if he were a human, i think it would have happened the same way as in this story. becos bufy wouldn't recognize love or happiness even if it hit her on the face

I just love this story. WTF is going on with Spike, I wonder. Will Willow chew him out about not being there when he said he would? Is Buffy too late? Will she move on, too?

Oh my God. Finally. I've been wanting to hit Buffy over the head for the last 39 chapters to knock some sense into her. She's quite the loser magnet, drawn to guys who are, of course, absolutely no good for her. Hopefully, now she will do whatever it takes to let Spike know that she wants him in her life as more than a friend.

whee! so thrilled to see these new chapters. really enjoying how everything is going, and I'm glad that Buffy finally understands where Spike is coming from, even if she is the last to know. The two of them, so lost in their set boxes, i can only hope they learn how to grow beyond that. And that the Xmas party brings some good to them.

Great job on the whole story...your Buffy drives me just as crazy as BTVS Buffy. Buffy just never really sees Spike. Spike just lets Buffy take & take. Sure...she is upfront with her taking but...GUH! You are dead on with the characters. It is so good to see a new chapter. Can't wait to see where you take the story from here.

I really like the story, and you're a wonderful writer. I can't wait to read the rest.
