Wow! I'm not usually that bag of a Spuffy fan, especially the AU's, but this is making me rethink that. Excellent use of "canon" Buffy, great dialogue. I'm very curious to see how this ends. Thanks for sharing it with us.

great progress! i like the way you worked on spike's feelings. i don't like riley but like the way he is - he was always too passive. let him be mean, he deserves it at least once. (although i would like to see him smart at least in one fic)

Ch 5 - oh, god that's depressing! Poor Buffy! Poor Spike! Poor Darla! Argh! The only one I don't feel sorry for is Riley. That bastard! Please, please, please don't have Spike marry Darla before he realizes what a mistake that would be for all three of them!
